New York City, August 9, 1956 "Duophonic" pressings were introduced in 1961 to release previously released mono LPs in "re-channeled" versions "For Stereo Phonographs Only". Back cover gives a description of the "DUOPHONIC" process that gives them a "...brilliant new two channel sound...". Nowhere on the cover or labels does it claim this is a stereo record. Release date is determined by label style introduced in 1962 coupled with 1963 Scranton press mark in runouts that went into use in 1963.
